Refund and Returns Policy

Welcome to Assia. We want you to love every auto part you buy from us. If something isn’t right, this page explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.


Quick Summary

  • Returns/Exchanges: Within 7 days of delivery for eligible, unused items in original condition & packaging.
  • Damaged/Defective/Incorrect item: Inform us within 48 hours of delivery with unboxing photos/video.
  • Non‑returnable items: Electricals once installed/used, items without original packaging, clearance items (if marked), custom/painted parts, consumables.
  • Refund timeline: Issued to original payment method within 5–7 business days after quality check. Prepaid shipping charges are non‑refundable unless our error.
  • Cancellations: Allowed before dispatch. After dispatch, please raise a return once delivered.

Note: Time windows may differ during special events or force majeure. Courier delays are outside our control.


Eligibility for Return/Exchange

To be eligible, the item must:

  1. Be unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition with all components, manuals, and accessories.
  2. Be in its original manufacturer packaging (box, labels, MRP tag, protective films) and outer shipping box.
  3. Include a valid order number/invoice.
  4. Pass our quality inspection upon return.

If the returned item shows installation marks, wiring tampering, missing parts, or damage not due to transit, the return may be rejected and the item shipped back to you.


Non‑Returnable / Non‑Exchangeable Items

  • Electrical & electronic components (e.g., power window switches, sensors, relays) if installed/connected/used.
  • Consumables (oils, fluids, adhesives, grease) once opened.
  • Custom‑ordered, color‑matched, or painted parts.
  • Items sold as Clearance/Final Sale, if marked on product page.
  • Parts damaged due to improper installation, vehicle modifications, or usage outside manufacturer specs.

What to Do If You Receive a Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item

Please report within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Take clear photos/videos of the outer carton, shipping label, inner packaging, and product (close‑ups of damage/defect).
  2. Keep all packaging until your case is resolved.
  3. Email support@assia.in with subject Damage/Defect – Order #ASSIAxxxx and attach media, or WhatsApp us.
  4. We’ll arrange a pickup or replacement. If replacement is unavailable, we’ll process a refund.

How to Initiate a Return/Exchange (Step‑by‑Step)

  1. Submit a request: Visit My Account → Orders → Request Return or email us with your Order # and reason.
  2. Approval & Pickup: Once approved, we’ll schedule a reverse pickup. Please pack the item securely in original boxes.
  3. Quality Check: After the item reaches our facility, allow 24–72 hours for inspection.
  4. Refund/Exchange: On passing QC, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method or ship the exchange.

If reverse pickup is not serviceable at your pincode, we may request self‑shipping via a standard insured courier. Keep the receipt; we reimburse reasonable courier charges when the return is due to our error.


Refunds

  • Method: Same as original payment (UPI, card, netbanking, wallet). COD orders are refunded via bank transfer/UPI after KYC verification.
  • Timeline: Typically 5–7 business days post‑QC. Bank/card issuers may need extra time to reflect the credit.
  • Deductions:
    • Original shipping/COD handling charges are non‑refundable unless the return is due to our error.
    • If the product is returned used or not in original condition, a restocking fee may apply or the return may be rejected.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
  • Price differences (if any) will be collected/refunded accordingly.

Order Cancellations

  • You can cancel an order before dispatch from My Account → Orders or by contacting support.
  • If already dispatched, please refuse delivery or place a return request after delivery.

Shipping Issues & Undeliverable Packages

  • If the courier marks the shipment undeliverable (incorrect address, unreachable contact, repeated delivery attempts failed), it will be returned to origin. On receipt, we’ll refund the product value minus shipping/handling.
  • Please ensure your address and phone number are accurate at checkout.

Installation & Compatibility

  • Verify vehicle compatibility (model, variant, year) before ordering. If unsure, contact us with VIN/RC details.
  • We recommend professional installation. Damage due to incorrect installation isn’t covered.

Warranty Support

  • Manufacturer warranties (if applicable) vary by product. Keep your invoice for claims.
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or improper installation.

Documents You’ll Need

  • Order number, invoice copy, contact details.
  • Photos/videos for damage/defect claims.
  • Bank details for COD refunds.
